Unhappy little tree, sculpted 8/8/09, polymer clay over wire and foil
I had a lot of fun with this piece. I made the armature a long time ago, probably around last Halloween. This is my second evil tree model and I think it's rather better than my last one. Also of course it's good to do a more complex sculpt than some of my recent ones.
The name, of course, is a reference to painting guru Bob Ross. My unhappy tree makes me pretty happy. Not a difficult thing to sculpt, but I was disappointed in that the reference project that inspired me, some Chaos Tree projects on the Warhammer site, disappeared before I got around to making this.
