Aaron DaMommio: husband, father, writer, juggler, and expert washer of dishes. "DaMommio" rhymes with "the Romeo", as in "my parents told me they thought about naming me Romeo DaMommio, and I believed them, when I was ten."
The PvP review made me wonder what the Watchmen would have been like had they filmed it when they originally planned to, back around 1990.
(Remember I told you about the letter from the editor at DC I read in the back of an old Suicide Squad comic book pumping up the fans for the upcoming movie over 20 years ago?)
Here's the thing: I think it would have had more of an impact as a work of art 20 years ago, but I also doubt the director and screenwriter back then would have been allowed to make it as true to the comic as they can now, because it would have been too revolutionary and shocking.
Ironically, the movie probably couldn't be made until its message was less startling in some way. Just my two cents.
