Steven Brust wrote a Firefly novel and it's free
I was looking up some detail about Steven Brust's Jhereg books, which I am currently rereading for the umpteenth time, and I bumped into this fact on his Wikipedia page: he wrote a novel based on the Firefly universe, and it's available for free download under a Creative Commons license. You can get it in an easy-to-read PDF or one-file html format.

Hey, thanks. I'm not as familiar with Brust as you are, but I downloaded this and will check it out as my eyestrain allows.
ReplyDeleteThey really need a better, more portable, cheaper .pdf reading device. The new Kindle looks promising but it still too expensive for me to justify since I'm not really interested in buying books in the Kindle format.
