So proud

My wife was gone for four days, and I didn't resort to eating out once.

Of course, I also forgot to send the boy to Scouts, and the girl to her Dragon Dance lesson. But still. There were three kids when she left, and three when she got back. Victory!

  1. So would it count as a win or a loss if you had *more* kids when she got back? ;-)

And how helpful is the oldest child with the other two?

  2. Oldest is very helpful with youngest, less so with closer sibling. They get more independent and helpful every year.

  3. I assume it was the *same* three kids?

(Cue the classic, "Goldfish died and needed to be replaced" storyline.)

  4. We find it helps to rotate the kids every year or so. This time, I introduced a cute little red-headed guy with a Dennis complex. I'm sure it will work out fine.
