Aaron DaMommio: husband, father, writer, juggler, and expert washer of dishes. "DaMommio" rhymes with "the Romeo", as in "my parents told me they thought about naming me Romeo DaMommio, and I believed them, when I was ten."
My wife was gone for four days, and I didn't resort to eating out once.
Of course, I also forgot to send the boy to Scouts, and the girl to her Dragon Dance lesson. But still. There were three kids when she left, and three when she got back. Victory!
We find it helps to rotate the kids every year or so. This time, I introduced a cute little red-headed guy with a Dennis complex. I'm sure it will work out fine.
So would it count as a win or a loss if you had *more* kids when she got back? ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd how helpful is the oldest child with the other two?
Oldest is very helpful with youngest, less so with closer sibling. They get more independent and helpful every year.
ReplyDeleteI assume it was the *same* three kids?
ReplyDelete(Cue the classic, "Goldfish died and needed to be replaced" storyline.)
