Droopy ship (Sculpt-a-day 7)

Droopy ship, sculpted 8/6/09, polymer clay over wire, foil, and cardboard

Update 8/8/09: Wow, this one looked better before I photographed it. Usually that is so not the case.

Clay is not the ideal material for a model ship. But it's a great least-common-denominator material. More profound than my love of clay is my love of making things in general. Clay's an enabler: I can make anything. As long as it's okay if it's droopy.
